Health Day and Summer Party 2026 in Emlichheim

This year, our Emlichheim site once again dedicated a day to health, prevention, and team spirit. As part of our annual Health Day, employees had the opportunity to take part in a variety of interactive activities, learn something new, and gain valuable tips for both their professional and personal lives. The event was followed by our annual staff meeting and the traditional company celebration, where everyone enjoyed cold refreshments and a delicious barbecue buffet provided by Vedder.

The diverse program offered something for everyone. AOK Lower Saxony provided coordination and resistance band exercises, shared practical advice on incorporating more physical activity into everyday life, and raised awareness of the fat and sugar content in common foods. The activities were complemented by an exciting prize draw. The Volunteer Fire Departments of the Municipality of Emlichheim showcased a fire engine and gave participants the opportunity to try out a fire extinguisher training station. The German Red Cross (DRK) Emlichheim offered hands-on first aid training and presented an emergency radio. The German Social Accident Insurance Institution for the Food and Hospitality Industry (BGN) provided an impairment goggles course, giving participants a realistic impression of how alcohol or other impairments can affect perception and coordination. Employees also had the opportunity to register with Leukin as potential stem cell donors, making an important contribution to saving lives. Healthy snacks were provided by Menü 2000, offering fresh inspiration for a balanced diet.
