Emsland Group Celebrates 20 Years of Collaboration with Emsland Latin America
The Emsland Group recently marked an important milestone by celebrating 20 years of successful collaboration with the Emsland Latin America team. This celebration took place during the 4th Latin American Meeting, held in Buenos Aires, Argentina, in June of 2025.
The event brought together key representatives from the Emsland Group – Christian Kemper (Chief Sales Officer), Dimitrios Mousios (Sales Director), and Florenz Rosen (Area Sales Manager) – alongside agencies, partners, and customers from across the region, including Argentina, Brazil, Central America, Chile, Colombia, Ecuador, Mexico, Peru, and Uruguay.
Over the course of three days, attendees engaged in productive discussions covering a range of topics. The agenda included a review of the two-decade partnership, an analysis of the current fiscal year, and a strategic outlook for the coming year. One of the key issues addressed was the rising cost of raw materials and energy. Thanks to Emsland Group’s successful contract farming initiatives, Mr. Kemper was able to reassure partners about the strong availability of raw materials, a critical concern given the ongoing global uncertainties.
Additional highlights included updates on the company’s SAP implementation, investments in the Kyritz production site, the new fully automated logistics hall in Emlichheim, and sustainability efforts aimed at future-proofing Emsland Group’s operations and global service capabilities.
Participating agencies also provided valuable insights into their local markets, including product portfolios, market shares, competitive landscapes, and potential growth opportunities. Notably, a possible regional launch of a starch blend for analogue cheese applications was explored.
The event also served as a heartfelt moment of appreciation for Susana (Customer Service), who is retiring after 20 years of dedicated service to Emsland Latin America. Her contributions were warmly recognized by colleagues and partners alike.
This milestone event was not only a celebration of past achievements but also a reaffirmation of the strong cooperation and shared vision between Emsland Group and its Latin American partners.
