DAY OF LITTLE BUILDERS
At the Emsland Group in Kyritz, it was recently: helmet on, tools in hand, and let’s get started!
For the “Day of the Little Builders” we welcomed numerous children from the region – among them the Kita Feldmäuse, Spatzennest, Kita Hundert Sterne, Kita Wiesenzwerge, Kita Köritz, and the Kita am Markt.
At various hands-on stations, the little craftsmen were able to put their skills to the test:
- Nailing, hammering, and screwing with Anton Meyer
- Roofing with master roofer Matthias Kuska
- Building birdhouses with the carpentry Holz & Form
- Bricklaying with Seeger Bau
Of course, food and drinks were also provided – delicious pasta from the field kitchen and refreshing ice cream made the children’s hearts beat faster.
A special highlight awaited at the end: the children got to visit a real, large construction site – our new silo. With shining eyes and lots of exciting impressions, an eventful day came to a close.
