The Cloppenburg facility of Emsland Food GmbH has won the BGN Award for Inclusion 2021. This makes the Emsland Group one of four companies that have been honored by the food and catering trade association BGN (Berufsgenossenschaft Nahrungsmittel und Gastgewerbe) for exceptional and successful commitment to long-term reintegration of employees.
We recall that last year the Emsland Group reported jointly with BGN on the severe work accident suffered by Mr. Tabeling in February 2019:
Ensuring the successful reintegration in the long term of employees who have undergone severe work accidents and have become disabled as a result is not an everyday occurrence. To integrate these people back into work life, however, the company made a number of great efforts in order to bring the inclusion projects to a successful conclusion.
Nobody had expected that after his severe accident, Mr. Tabeling would fight so hard to get back to work so quickly. With the inclusion award, the Cloppenburg facility has now been given recognition for its successful efforts to enable inclusion into working life. In addition to the statuette and certificate, the prize includes a cash sum of €4000.
Thanks are due at this point once again to everybody who made the inclusion at the Cloppenburg site possible.
