The Emsland Group welcomed the new trainees to Emlichheim with a welcoming day on August 1, 19.
A total of 14 new employees started their training program. This marked the beginning of a new phase in their lives as they learned skills in a wide variety of fields, such as chemical technician, warehouse logistics specialist, information technology, chemical laboratory technician or industrial business manager. For the first time, junior staff from Emsland Service were also included in the ranks of the trainees. They started their careers as industrial mechanics in maintenance, electronic technicians in industrial engineering and mechatronics technicians.
In his welcoming speech, Mr. Peter Höning (CFO of the Emsland Group) wished the trainees plenty of courage and self-confidence, as well as expectations of the Group that are easier to meet: interest and curiosity. Questions from interested trainees are always welcome. Everyone is here to learn something, after all.
On the first day, alongside safety instructions and an IMS briefing, the trainees were given a comprehensive tour of the plant before going to the cafeteria to enjoy lunch together. The new colleagues were then received in their respective training areas in the afternoon.
We wish you all a great start and successful vocational training program!
