The largest trade fair in the food ingredient industry would be incomplete without the innovative products of the Emsland Group. Besides tried-and-tested product solutions, the group will also be showcasing many new product developments. With the slogan "Clear and Clean Up Your Labels", this year's focus is unmistakably on new products for clean label applications.
Two new products have been added to the well-established Empure® product line. Empure® MS and Empure® KJel have improved properties as binding and thickening agents. The new products optimize the texture and stability of not only fruit fillings and dressings, but also soups and sauces in particular. Furthermore, the clean label range of the starch- and potato flake-based Empure® products have been expanded to include protein and fiber.
The new Empro® E 86 and Empro E 86 HV pea protein isolates stand out with an excellent amino acid profile. The Empro® products are superb protein sources and binding agents that can be used in vegetarian and vegan products as a meat alternative. Their emulsifying properties also make them suitable for use in both meat products and pastries.
The Emsland Group also made further advancements in terms of fiber. The new pea-based Emfibre® EF 60 is especially finely pulverized. Besides having very high water absorption capacity, Emfibre® EF 60 also improves the structure of end products. It is also especially rich in dietary fiber. Above all, the new product achieves very good results when use in meat injection. The fiber is also suitable for use in snacks and pastries.
