Staying true to its corporate motto “using nature to create,” the Emsland Group is increasing its focus on solutions with a positive impact on people and the environment. In addition to many environmental technology projects, the Group has now also developed environmentally-friendly hygiene products. The new Emsorb® 2000 Super Absorber is a market-ready product with improved absorption properties. The product is adapted to the processing technology used and offers optimized liquid absorption. Applications include diapers and absorptive inserts for meat packaging (to drain liquids and protect the food).
Emsorb® 2000 is developed on the basis of potato starch, a renewable resource, and replaces synthetic absorbent materials used in diapers and food packaging. This saves resources and the environment.
This diaper project aims to develop a 100% biodegradable diaper that is completely compostable and free of mineral oil, made only of renewable resources.
fairwindel is a disposable baby diaper made of renewable resources. The goal is 100% biodegradability (compostability). This protects the environment, our resources and your wallet. fairwindel combines fair production (resources from sustainable sources, mineral oil-free, biodegradable), fair pay for all stakeholders, fair prices for customers, and a safe and skin-friendly product for our little ones (no perfumes, bleaching agents, or chemicals). Parents buying a fairwindel opt for progress and a more responsible society.
